Matthew Donner, MPT

Matt Donner is a 22 year resident of south Florida by way of New York, Puerto Rico and
Maryland. He left Western Maryland College in with a BS degree in Political Science, along
with multiple injuries and concussions from playing Division 3 football. His history of
injury rehab and love of athletics and physiology brought him back to school 5 years later
to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. Upon acceptance into Nova Southeastern
University's PT program he said goodbye to Maryland and drove his beat up Jetta to sunny South Florida. He graduated from NSU in 1997 with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy, and a fiancé (a fellow student, Stacy: see next Bio). Matt has been in outpatient P.T. practice specializing in orthopedics and sports injury in Broward County for 20 years. Serving as Practice Manager for HealthSouth Corporation for 2 years, he had the privilege and opportunity to work in close contact and learn from Miami Dolphins team doctors, Dr. Caldwell and Dr. Yoldas. From professional athlete to weekend warrior, Matt has treated all types of orthopedic injuries and has a special interest in treating / preventing youth baseball injury. Matt enjoys spending time with family and friends,  utilizing a combination form of yard work and weight training for exercise, and searching for the next best Netflix or Amazon series...(he really liked Amazon's Jack Ryan). He can also still
do a handstand on his skateboard. He dislikes when people cut in line.
